Activities for Children & the Young

"Little Angels" is a new Children's Group starting on 10th January 2008.  Come along and meet new people.  A fantastic support for parents, grand-parents and child minders.  Tea, coffee juice & biscuits available at a small charge.

Sparks Group The Sparks Group is for children from the age of 4 or 5 upwards. It meets at 9:30 am on Sundays in the Morlais Room. The children join the main service in church at the time of communion. Note that the Sparks Group does not meet during school holidays.

Dynamos Group The Dynamos are an enthusiastic group of young people with ages from 11 to 18 years. They leave the 9:30 am service (after the gospel reading) for their group activity or discussion, and they return to church at the time of communion. The Dynamos meet every Sunday except for the first Sunday of the month.

Youth Group At present, we have no youth group meeting outside church hours.

If you feel you might be able to lead or help to set up such a group, then please either get in touch with the Rector or .

Scout & Guide organisations There are Scout & Guide groups affiliated to the church.

Confirmation Classes A programme of confirmation classes is normally run once per year (subject to demand). Although not exclusively for the young, there is often a high proportion of younger people present.

Child Protection Monitor The monitor acts on behalf on the P.C.C., ensuring adherence to Church of England procedures for the protection of young or vulnerable persons.
