Booklet

A 40-page, illustrated booklet entitled "St Michael's, Tilehurst - The First 800 Years" was produced for the 800th anniversary of the church in 1989.

The author, Sue Handscomb, is a former Churchwarden who is also noted for her local history books on Tilehurst.  There is a foreword by the then Bishop of Oxford, the Right Revd Richard Harries.

Copies of the booklet may be bought by visitors to the church.  To obtain a copy by post, please contact the Parish Office to confirm availability, price and arrangements for payment (by cheque or postal order payable to 'St Michael's P.C.C. Tilehurst').  Proceeds go to church funds.
